Should I Watch Gakuen Babysitters?

Opinion written after the anime was completed

Now imagine this: you've got an adorable little brother kid, and then due to some circumstances, you end up being surrounded by another five adorable little kids.

For some people that would be a bit of a hell, I won't deny. But this is anime world we're talking about. It's the kind of situation that by right should make you feel sad or down, but the cuteness and kawaii-ness of these little kids just keep adding so much colours to your daily life, that you end up giggling all the way through.

Anyways, that's the gist of the story, pretty much. Gakuen Babysitters was an extremely enjoyable watch, a great slice of life with plenty of comedy and a small bit of drama here and there. Not a single episode gets boring.

Despite sounding like nothing much happens, the anime turned out very eventful, with quite a lot of interesting and fun developments, which in my opinion is quite a lot especially within only 12 episodes. To me, this one feels adequately long but a tad too short at the same time. Not gonna spoil anything though, so if that made you curious, then this might be worth watching.

However a warning simply must be placed here, this anime can really hit you with a tear jerking moment when you least expect it, especially around the beginning. Do jump in fully prepared for the sudden appearance of an onion-cutting ninja. Unless if you're stronger than the ninja (or the onion).

For sure cannot wait for another season for this one.
